Re: Twin Turbo Rotary power?
The boat is in australia, its an 1850 Bullet (aussie hull) it's powered by a 20B Motor (triple rotor) with a big T04 style turbo, pretty damn impressive, Have seen it run a couple of times and it's damn quick, used for ski racing, I had a website with more photo's of it but can't find it now...

HOLY CRAP! i thought this was a video i have of a different rotary boat that gets up and moves but this thing FLY'S!!!! thats unreal!
If you really stop and think about it the rotary's are perfect for a marine jet boat environment. They like the high rpm's. I once had a long conversation with a Mazda mechanic that specialized in the rotary's and he said the biggest problem people have with their cars is they keep the rpm's too low on the engines. He said its a different way of driving the rotary's as a conventional piston engine.

That is typical of any high boost-high RPM engine, It does not have to be a rotary. I have wanted to put a twin-turbo Supra engine in a smaller boat and with over 900 HP it could run away from any big cube low boost pig.
