At most of the airports I have been to lately, the best they have is 100LL. Doug

The run is about 30 miles each way. party cove is only a couple miles from shooters. Don't worry big daddy, you want to be light for the shoot out any way.

TRUE....but she drinks fuel quickly!!! 60 miles should eat up about 100 gallons (give or take)

big thunder has 116 turbo blue is currently over 8$/gallon, not very good quality fuel. that is the only place on the water to get 110 or over. no where on land can you get any race fuel. I use only NP Racing fuels , which I consider the best. I have 108, 110, and 116 available, have bought all the stock the area rep has, If anybody wants more let me know as he is making another run tomorrow. Have Drums that got deliveredd today and more tomorrow. so far have 30 barrels confirmed, ordered the last 6 barrels of 110, today, he has some 116 left but not much. 108 red is 320, barrel, 110 is 350 barrel and 116 wont know price until tomorrow. will check my thread in the am after that wont be able to get anymore. thanks wiggler

I am not 100% sure but as I remember when I was buying the 100LL at the Airstrip near my house they used a different octane rating that made the aviation fuel near 116 octane and with lead which would increase the knock factor to 120 or so.
I know that I ran it and was very satisfied and I know today I can purchase it for $3.80 per gallon at the airstrip with a signed paper saying it is for aviation only (some FAA crap)
