I was under the impresion that they were the same boat. I could be wrong though. When I get to the office tomorrow I'll post the info on all the 32's that we built. If I'm not mistaken there were only 5.

I opened the old books on the 32 Mirage and here's what I got:
Hull #1 1989 White hull/white deck side by side 400 cyclones with #3's, currently sitting in a shop in Miami with no power.
Hull #2 1990 Black hull/black deck stag engines race hatches sold to someone named Art in NY unrigged as a raceboat, this is Armed & Dangerous.
Hull #3 1990 Black hull/black deck stag engines race hatches sold to someone in Miami, whereabouts unknown.
Hull #4 1990 White hull/white deck side by side 400 cyclones with #3's sold to owner in Key Biscayne, whereabouts unknown.
Hull #5 1990 Blue hull/white deck sold unrigged set up for side by side motors.
I hope that helps. If it was black gelcoat from the factory it had to have staggared motors.

The gel-coat was black, some re-rigging is evident, it looks as if it had smaller tabs at one time. I have a pic of Armed & dangerous from the net the quality is bad but it looks as if it ran side by sides. Will the VIN tell you if its hull #2 or #3? The boat has saddle fuel tanks in the rear (both 98 gal.) and two 45 gal tanks under the cockpit floor.
