I heard a clanking noise right before my drive let loose. It felt like it was coming from underneath of the boat. Blew my top end out. I'm running over 600 hp though. I know plenty of boats with regular Bravo 1's with 496 ho's. It should be able to handle 415 hp with no problems. The X is a little better, if I were to upgrade I would go with the XR, but with your application I think I would just stay with the Bravo 1.

Rich...hang onto that puppy for another year and I should be there...I would love to have that rig of yours!
I will let you know on the upper....I still have no idea if it is the drive or engine however, I have and even moreson now suspect the drive.
