Re: Hurricane Victim Members, Check in here...
I was fortunate, i am feeling guilty watching TV in the AC and my biggest hardship is i am on dialup at my parents house in Baton Rouge, knowing these people are in dire straights, 55 miles from my house. We were told we would get an 11' surge up the Tickfaw. We got high winds, but no surge. Donald, sorry to hear about your brand new place. Stalkin and family is fine, i saw him yesterday at his bro-in law's. The water dropped 4'' today. We may get power back in the next few days in Killian. Thanks for your concern. I don't post very much, but i lurk a lot and learn a lot from you folks. I may be putting together a benifit in NJ Best Regards Michael V. Arnone

Re: Hurricane Victim Members, Check in here...
I just got a call from a friend that just talked to Jassby. They are OK but that is about all I know. Judging by everything we know about that area I would assume there isn't much left of his place but means nothing at this point.

WOW
My heart and prayers go out to all of you who were affected. It makes you think twice about all the things taken for granted, especially the power of mother nature.........Sometimes she can be a real B!TCH! |

Re: Hurricane Victim Members, Check in here...
Looking for James Roos aka Hoss @ Hot Boat forums, hoping the N.O. boating community is small enough that someone may know about him.
Last heard from was 2:30 monday morning - Wife and child are safe and in Texas, but he and his father inlaw stayed behind.... any help would be greatly appreciated. -Drift :( |
