How much Money did You Spend This Weekend IN Gas????
I know this is small compared to most on this board, but I'm just curious. I'm $400 into the "fund" this weekend myself with a 25' single big block boat......
$150 on Sat morning on the way to the water @ $3.29 per gallon, and $200 Sunday at the marina @ $4 per gallon, then $50 today @2.99 per gallon.
Be honest.

Had I listened to Ted and not run out, it would have been better, 325 tow in and 725 this morning to fill up...I take the blame though

Zero = $0
Filled up 10 days ago 110 gals @$2.89 (I think?!) and ran this weekend on that fuel ... now I'm on fumes and trying to outlast the prices till they fall next weekend after the Benny's go home! Don't want to pull an Offshoredrillin though

We took our little fishing boat out today. It had 1/4 tank out of 26 gallons so figure 6 gallons. The tow rig is a Dodge with a 5.2 that does 16-20 light and 10 or so mpg towing. Towed 40 miles and used almost everything in the boat. Best guess would be 8-10 gallons total @ 2.99 per gallon. 23.92 - 29.90 dollars total money spent. . We idled and cruised some coves on a local lake. Lots of people anchored up and hanging out. Jet Skiis were the only ones running hard. Our Apache is covered and dry, sleeping until we get on our feet again after moving. I see us using our 17 ft. flats boat with a Merc 50 a lot in the near future.

0$ yesterday...still had some fuel, now on empty. Local small lake.
I take the blame for throwing a bystander my rear line. Coming into launch ramp to pull out by myself PERFECTLY....
till I tossed the line and the guy pulled too hard and got me jagged up, couldn't catch the front one so I told him to toss rear line back to me and it gets wrapped around port prop- kills motors. No biggy, took 4-5 min and good to go. Now my spot that I had before was getting taken by some guy on a pontoon boat selling ice cream. not to mention severly hung over....but he let me in, wife finally showed up to help. Then I walk 1/4mi it get truck and I forgot the darn keys so back to boat and .....oh well what's the use
