Jim,
that is a tempting thought.. trade the SeaDoo in on a fountain.. a 42' ??

I think I need to get my Check to run like that, it could be fun..!!

Thanks again Jim!

And as far as torque - his friend with the same hull and 810 HP supercharged engines couldn't catch him from a standing start and he was under propped.( better acceleration )

Actually, what's funny is that they seem to idle lower/smoother as I put more hours on the engines, but even so, I must say that in the quest for decent, reliable, turn-key performance, and in comparison of two identical Active Thunder boats, I was quite impressed with how my boat/engines performed---especially the torque/acceleration. Of course there are other variables, but if he had some larger 32" props on his boat then I am quite sure he would have spanked me pretty good. Anyway, glad you had a good time Steve.

Craig/WetteVette, Somehow I kind of knew that sales pitch of a solid/mechanical roller cam would come up at some point!---but I think I'm gonna stick with my baby hydraulic rollers---works for me. :D Anyway, it was me who was actually trying to stay away from you out there----of course I wouldn't be able to out run you anyway, so what difference would it have made??? For the most part it was YOUR kind of water! Glad you had fun.

Yeah, that 32' Elminator of Devin's was an impressive, clean looking/running boat wasn't it??? Glad Smitty got his boat going again and that it wasn't as serious as he thought.
