Haha, that's awesome. Please share some more details and photos if you could.
I bet that thing draws a crowd at the tie-ups or docks, similar to the way I see a Dukes of Hazzard Charger draw one.

To clarify, when I refer to "go fast" I'm referring to sports boats of the racing style not centre consoles and IMO a "classic" is something of timeless style that has a special value, probably well in excess of its original cost, and a look of the times so you can almost tell when the boat was built at first glance.
An older Scarab CC doesn't have any special value or market, it's sadly just an old boat. That particular example is special to me and anyone who watched the show and I'd pay a little bit more to own it knowing the history but it will never garner the appeal of classics like Magnums, Cigarettes, Scarab Kv's, etc.
It's still a cool boat with a fun history, definitely worth more than other cc's of the time. If the owner stops enjoying her one day, I hope he posts here to sell it because OSO members would probably appreciate it more than most!

Looks great, and I can see you get to entertain onboard!
Do you have any idea how many of these were used in the filming? I wonder if there are others still in existence and are they as nice as yours...
