I think there was a lot of talk about the brunch run, so maybe there will be a bigger turnout this yr.

i did it 2 years ago atleast the 2nd leg from Liberty Landing up n back and it was an awesome run, not alot of boats i'd say maybe 20-25, waters were perfect with the occasional roller from a tug boat, and was surprisingly clean (no debris)..lookin forwards to doin it again

We're talking about doing the run. But weather don't look good at all that weekend. (Got my fingers crossed.) If we do it, I'm pretty sure we're gonna run over from Atl High.

Bern & Lucy,

Just viewed the same weather report as you did. Looks like rain Friday to Sunday. Will keep my fingers crossed for all of you that you get the weather for the run.

Just a suggestion:

Billy Frenz may have already done this, but if not, someone should make a courtesy call to the Coast Guard giving them a heads up to expect whatever the number of boats that will be coming down the Hudson that day.

A few weeks ago 5 of our club boats went for a fun run up the Hudson and they were all stopped and boarded. All passed inspection except for one with the wrong extinguisher.

It's just easier to keep open communication with the Coasties.
Their job is hard enough without wondering why all of a sudden so many performance boats are coming at them at one time...
