it has horns, 9 of them to be exact, they are 16" in diameter and have a 22 mile range.

I have a friend who was on the re-comissioning crew of the Misssouri. He told me all kinds of neat stuff. The most interesting boating related fact about the MO is it took 11 miles to stop from full speed. That was with FULL REVERSE!

Thanks for all the idea's Maybe something between the Missouri and a train horn may do. I will have to check out the formula and some air horns.

Ray, how does the horn in the Fountain compare to your PQ? I know that mine is one of the loudest (internally mounted) that I have heard. It definitely gets attention.

I had Kahlenbergs on my 42 Carver. Yup, way loud. But I think they are in Two Rivers, Wisconsin.

Can't imagine what a go-fast would look like with a a pair of 8" diameter, 3 foot long stainless horns would look like.
