Thunderboat row

Hi Walt,
Thanks for sending the DVD's, That Ruled!!
I'll have to look earlier into this thread to see what the story was on the boats.
The aditional video was awsome! City Confidential was great, I never knew the Aronow Murder was solved and that there were convictions, so that was cool. Plus there was Brownie, bigger then life on my Flat screen and lots of references to my home town, NMB.
I just can't help but ask myself why I never went down to 188th looking for a job, to push a broom at 16, instead of working at the chocolate dipping place or Gingiss Tuxedo on 163rd, renting tuxs to 12 yos for Gyspy weddings, (I'm talking about the grooms).
But I know it was pride, I didn't want to show up as a Pee-on, Even then I liked to drive boats, not sweep floors.
The Race footage was kinda long, I was nodding off, then making dinner walking in and out of the room and then BAM!!
and Bam again! I'm going to turn that on with no sound tomorrow when I'm making my calls so I can see it again. There may have been more insane action that I missed.
Walt, Thanks Very much for hours of good footage.
I have some Start/Finish boat coverage of the 1981 Bacardi Trophy Race that I did as a High school AV class project. We got Press passes and had full access in the paddock, on the Start Finish boat, 50' Cary, Cool footage for 1981. About 15 minutes long
PM me if anyone wants a copy. Pretty basic production, VHF to VHF editing

BTW, where is Pasadena, MD? Used to live in so. MD years ago. Mostly PG county before all my friends moved to further south MD, like Mechanicsville. Now in MO at LOTO.
Thanks so much for you effort on this project. You ever get to LOTO, I've got one of those old CIGAR boats you mentioned, would be happy to take you out and show you around.

Just watched it. Great movie!. Can't believe I missed it in 1991. Thanks for going to the trouble, and thanks for the memories.
