Re: WHY ARE BOTH "WORLDS" THE SAME WEEKEND?
If you read my post, it says i wasn't sure of the exact number. The OSS guys don't want to be a part of APBA/SBI. They have they're own racing organization. They did however want to be included in THE WORLDS because it is after all THE WORLDS. They asked to be treated the same as UIM but they were refused. How can you say that you're the best in the world when half of the fast boats weren't there.

I swear, you can't mention racing without a bunch of bickering going on. It's getting to where it's safer to say Apache, than racing.

Btw, whatever happened to Allwiess being the Antichrist of racing? Everyone said it would all be good if he was gone. Guess not.

[COLOR=Blue][I]Posted by F1-00 You still have the option of running in KW if you want to! Every racer out there still has that option. SBI/APBA
For a hefty sum
OSS $2,500.00 In addition to their own fees
UIM $0 In addition to their own fees
I guess it is obvious that for some reason if you are from Europe you get special treatment

there is a difference between the 2 groups,
one allows only canopy boats, the other any boats.
one is for profit, the other in not.
the only thing in common, is they both have racers and fans hat are passionate about the sport.
i think the off season will bring many surprizes, to those that follow offshore racing.

We went from a leader with a vision and a gift for bringing opposing sides together...... Gene Whipp
To a leader with an ever changing vision and no ability to bring sides together...
To no leader at all.

Several teams have raced both circuits this year, raced their 2 races, paid both fees and havent complained.

Uim pays a fee ( much smaller than having all of their racers pay the regular membership fee) to have their group in the races as well as paying all the regular entry fees to this one race. Oss was willing to do the same.
