Deep Creek Lake restricts boats to less than 25' length (unless you get a waiver which I optained for my 26' Sonic). Pontoons are allowed to be 30' long.

Hey Shawn,
I know what it is. You have to do 10 weekends of community service...which in this case is piloting one of the trash skimmer boats around the harbor. The good news is that the City DPW pays for the gas. The bad news is that you have to wash the boat after your shift. (They do give you bright orange coveralls to wear...all you need is a helmet and impact jacket and pretend you're racing). Good Luck!!!

John, last weekend my passengers said they would split the fine if we ran at speed to the lift, but I don't think they would do my trash boat duty. I think its better to blast out of the harbor on the last run of the year, maybe the marine police would forget who it was by spring.
Only a thought, not necessarily a good one.
