The warranty will not mean crap after selling it. Keep it and sell it with the boat. Trying to sell a boat with a S/C on it can be very troublesome

I am sure you can find someone to swap a 525efi for a 500efi, plus a few bucks to you. I would offer but I am sure mine already has to many hours for you, 405hrs 
I figure I am about 100-150 from a rebuild.

Yea my 500efi is stock, I have replaced the valve springs at 275hrs. I have run Mobil 1 synthetic since new and change it every 20-25 hours. You need to understand that I rarely run it WOT, maybe 4 mins per 6 hours. Usually 2800-3400 rpms Heck on SML at 75mph you run out of lake pretty fast, or some one pulls infront of you.
