I would agree, leave out the stereo, they can get very wet, I have rolled many of them. The first boats where narrower, turning them was real fun! The first Cubs where made by people from Flight Marine it was a 1/3 scale of the Cougar designed Flight cat. Cougar then cut one into three and made the tunnel and hulls wider and that was the Cougar Cub, still have a set of moulds but have not made one for 15 years.

How's the prop selection for the small Yamahas? I have a line on a late 80's 70hp Yamaha, if I can get cleavers for it I will move on it, if not gotta keep looking for a Merc or Johnson.

I'm not sure, I never had a Yamahaha...

It had a stock aluminum prop on that one.

Too bad, if anyone is looking for a late 80s 70hp Yamaha PM me. Guy said it has good compression and runs. I haven't see it. He said $500 takes it.

Stecz,
This is what you have under the floor. 3 separated compartments.
Bottom is built with Vinyl Ester resin, 1/2 Balsa Core and Bi-Directional 1708 glass.

Re: 13" Mini-Hawk

Other than the vacuum bagging.....yes! :drink:

You will find two drain plugs on each side of the bilge. You can open them to check for any water. I wouldn't think you would find any but put the plugs back in and tighten them. They should keep the areas under the floor on the outside of the stringers air tight.

I wasn't crazy about the windshield someone put on that boat.
Maybe consider changing it to an all fiberglass one like I had on my 1st Bullet:
