13" Mini-Hawk
 

We just purchased a Mini-Hawk for my son's upcoming birthday in June. We would like to restore the boat to its original condition. We do not believe the upholstery is original. Does anyone have any info on the original Mini-Hawk interior?

You had two options... the basic interior That mine came with
"right pic" it consisted of just a simple seat bottom & back rest. OR The custom interior witch had a thicker seat and backrest "left pic"also came with padded side panels, you can see them in the pic that old school posted

Hey Maureen, I was lucky enough to be the proud driver of the Kaama in the first pic that Oldschool posted. It had a nice ribbed bench seat and back with the matching sides like the left picture above (the grab handle is a very nice option I must say). The back was removable since the gas tank is behind it. The more padding on the bottom part the better! Other then that it also had removable carpet. What size motor does he have on it? They are lots of fun!!! Enjoy. :evilb: :evilb:

Sorry to disappoint you, but its just a Sportjet 120 in it. It was never titled, and still has just 10 hrs on it. I havent even had it in the water yet. Bought it this summer and had no time to mess with it. I think there were less than a dozen of them made.

Also, it has no steering wheel. Has a stick for steering and throttle. Looks cool, like a little fighter jet inside.

i no.itd be a goldmine with as much as people pay today on their hi perf boats im sure there are a lot of them who would be very interested in buyin a mini veriosn of the boat for their chilren or just to have.

I talked to Ken, he said he is a little ways off from having a completed boat.
Id like to build it for my (soon to be delivered) daughter. So I have some time but would also like to do it as a project.

Hey Tantrum There is/was a 1987 BAJA (designed by Renato Molinari no less!!!) Scat Cat for sale in Conway, N.H...I set one of these up for my kid's & they LOVED it!!!...It went 33 mph(GPS) w/a 25 omc......I think the guy wanted $3300 for it...I will see if I still have the mag it was advertised in if you like...ALSO...WRANGLER now has the molds for these & you can buy one new...
