Just got in from a joyous 18 hour trek from FL with the boat. Big Thanks to Jake for dragging her up to Jax.... saved me about 12 hours

He said he hates Cuda and Russ because they only call him to hang out when Cuda gets his monthly edition of BoyPorn....

Jake is useful to SBRT... a diesel mechanic

Had about 6 pounds of tongue weight so you can imagine what 66mph feels like for 18 hours  I called Sean H to see if his sister would come down and ride on the bow of the boat on my way home.... I needed about 250 pounds of weight up there

Saw Lightning Strike 38 Comp? and the Pier 57 boat ? wrapped on the way to CC this weekend but thats about it.....

Thanks again Jake and welcome to the SBRT.....

My mission yielded another valuable member Stecz.... ran the show while you were gone and did some recruiting.... not bad

PS - E Dock is for HOMOS

Lousy... I threw two spares up there and put on a 3 inch drop hitch and only could get 68 mph... then when a truck went by it blew me all over the fvcking road....

Got about 16.6 mpg on the way down and 14.6 on the way back...

and I didnt calculate bag mileage very well either   :D

with a six hanging off the back i would have a guard on there... i bet all the truckstops in the south loved that boat.... :D

Re: Thanks Hillbilly24

I hadnt seen a pic of the trailer like that, looks like the sets of wheels are too far forward, making the assend way too heavy, that would explain why it was towing that way:eek:

 ALL of them.... it was some show :D

boat is only like 4800 so this trailer might work with some adjustments... I can easily attach a drive guard on it...

call myco you cheap azz.... think of all the money you saved not buying a cig, you can get a good trailer.... :D :drink:

masher44 10-13-2005 09:50 PM

Re: Thanks Hillbilly24

I am thinking of just putting a 4 foot extension on the hitch and then I can adjust it.... the bunks stick out 2 feet and the wheels are back as far as possible and boat is forward as far as possible...

All you SBRT boys are skeered to let me know when you're coming into my state. Stecz, I can't believe you were within 45 minutes of where I live and don't call.

I guess you were afraid of what my doggies would do to your punk ass chit!

Oh, by the way, Hillbilly doesn't want anything to do with SBRT. He's with the Southern Pride Boys. Mash, I'd check that steering real well if I were you. Hillbilly is in charge of covert ops.

Whats with the For Sale sign? Are you going to be on Texoma soon? Maybe we can arrange for some other toys to be in the water that day.

Re: Thanks Hillbilly24

Masher, I think your trailer shrunk!!!

Seriously, the reason you're getting blown all over the road is because you have the weight transfer wrong.
Add about 10 feet to that trailer and your life will be better.

Re: Thanks Hillbilly24

That trailer is way to short for that boat. Someone just put longer bunks on it to fit the boat. You need a different trailer for that boat. There should be @10% of the weight in the tounge, that's what will stop the swaying. If you are going to do short hauls it will work but don't make any long over the highway runs over I guess about 45-50 mph. IT WILL START TO SWAY.

Good luck and very nice boat

Re: Thanks Hillbilly24

Calling Myco today. Trailer bunks actually stick out about 2 feet past back of the boat. And there have been some trailer adjustments since that first pic was taken.

2004 Activator 32 Stealth
800 MRD
Merc 6 drive....

and yes it will scoot :D
