I replayed the blowover many times, from the begining of the straight when you got on the sticks, till the blowover, how much damage was done to the boat??? It didn't look too bad, where you able to run it again that day? or did the boat get too wet inside? did the deck and hatch get damaged?

guys thanx for the kind words .. its a real joy to run this boat .. i made a minor mistake to run it in a little choppy water with false wind here and there. . the setup was still in mirror flat water and therefore it was more flying that boating now and than .. i should have known better.. on the other hand ... makes it atrictive to look at and racing is rubbing right ?
Philip. . i could run here all day , this boat can carry a gallon of water inside without any problems. i have 2 auto bailers installed in the straights it will suck the hull empty in no time .after the crash, i did had some minor damage to the cowl, .. the air scoop came off and i had to reinforce the whole cowl .. fixed it up again and did some paint repairs too .. the motor that was in here was just to powerfull . it pulls that 14 pounds right out of the water .. you can see here tail shake of the torque just before the blow off .. thats the sign of : "take it easy now " i installed a new tuned motor and i am afraid its still way overpowered , i did already 62.8 mph with a brand new motor .. not even 500 cc fuel trough here. .
i have a new baby comming in September and i might have to sell the boat .. it will be a heartbrake and i hope i can take her as long as i can .. but i am afraid i have to let her go ...
here some more pics of that day .
thanx for looking .
