RELIABLE CARRIERS model is done ..
 

Well guys , after a few months of hard work and lots of patience i finnaly finished the scale cat Reliable Carriers . MR. Tom Abrams helped me out a lot and i am glad i had the opportunity to build his boat in scale . does it run ? sure it does , powerd by a Zenoah 26 cc motor wit h 5.5 hp and 1 prop it runs close to 60 mph . its a blast to run and the scale looks give a lot of oooh's and aaah 's

hmm i think you might call it a kit . we buy a hull , than a motor , than the hardware etc etc .. its not an all in the box thing ore so . the parts in this boat are comming from more than 7 supliers , the Reliable Carriers is not in a kit form as far as i know . and i am sure i am the only one in Europe ..

Strap a couple of pinhole cams to it one on the deck facing forward

guys your words are warm .thanx so much the paint and months of work finnaly pays off .. if you like i will post some running pics even a small video is possible . the rooster will be big , i can tell you that . .

aeromarine makes some nice racing hull .to bad the dont do much scale boat . we have the oposite on this side of the pond .lots of scale boat , where the bacardi and victory cats are real populair , iceberg and giesse ring a bell , we have lots of them .. the Reliabel Carriers is not familiar here , therefore i took that model ..

Wow. You did a great job! Wish I had the time to make something cool like that. Then i'd just have to get the skills. I've always liked RC \ Gas boats.....Running pics would be mighty.

Hahaha well my model boats are always for sale as long as the prize is right .. but i want to run this sweet thing first , and make some running pics , than we will see ..

i have talked to marc , may be i will demo this boat at the poker run in july 2006 ..

Jerome is cool guy and it is obvious his talent is worthy of the board scrutiny

hopefully we can get him here to run one of those bad boys or possibly to build a PRO poker run boat :)

HotBoat biult a crazy fast cat we ran a few times this summer.

HotBoat, Excavator, Excavator Jr, Malibu Bob and myself all have gas boats. We ran them behind Hotboats house earlier in the summer, Ive never laughed so hard.
I ended up in the woods a half dozen times. There were several colisions between boat end Paul hit a carp at about 50mph which sent the boat end over end.
Its amazing how real they when you photograph them running.
And YES the cat models do pack air and run. :drink:

Tom , Thanx For the compliment ,I am realy happy you like it ! , i will send a mail to you , this sunday i will make the first test run , i will make sure pics will be taken and will be posted here . like i said , you will receive a Big poster size photo of the boat .. the least i can do ..

Tantrum , cool to see you run gas boats as well , like you said its funny to see how detailed and indentical the modelboats are .. trim taps realy works and different props for different water conditions , what boats are you guys running ?

maiden voyage was today and ooh boy did she run fine .. even turns with full speed and accelerate like a katapult , the motor hauls like a bat out off hell , i was happy with 50 mph , but first test run smashed that speed allready , were gonne reach 60 .. no problem .
