Re: greatest apache ever?
They all have great lines to me..I can appreciate the history of all the restored ones, and the new technology used to make a boat version of a "pro touring" car. As long as people that own them enjoy them it's all good.

Wait until you all hear the weight of Paleface!
Once said that Mcmanus set up the forms and poured concrete to make the deck or something like that. |

Thats why we rebuilt our 16 year old 41 Apache this year. Going to run it another 15 years and then we'll have a classic :) What the heck, the Kevlar is good for about 50 years or so. Original : Good for 50 years? That's good to know, now I've only got another 6 before mine's a "classic" :drink:   |

Re: greatest apache ever?
Comparing apples to apples, how to the Sabers ride against Apaches?
rbr2328- you could built one too, right? The lines of the 41 are second to none in my opinion. I guess my question really is why don't people who are in the market for the new boats really consider a newer version of the 41? Or instead, were the originals really built with passion for the person that "Money is no object"? Who does that today? Outerlimits? McManus? I can relate to the pedigree but are they REALLY that much more of a boat? Maybe after I rode in one, the questions would stop. |
Re: greatest apache ever?
ask jerry... he has a NEW 41 (saber)
1075s and sixes for what some people want for 15yr old boat |
