By the way, I've read the other threads but I'm still curious as to why these things are so expensive? Is it the race heritage, loyalty to Saccenti/Kramer, or are they a design that is not duplicable?

Saber builds the same design? RBR will also build one? How come people don't pony up on their doorsteps for one? Wouldn't modern materials and techniques build a better boat? I find it hard to believe that the legendary Apache "Attention to detail" can't be found anywhere else.

Saw this in Toledo as Tweet Revenge when Pete brought it up for the July 4th weekend several years ago. Incredible boat!
