I have never seen or heard of any 47īs in that area but there propably are 1 or 2 somewhere. There are a 47 in Sweden and a 47 on Ibiza(It is supposed to be over there now for a redo) There are also a 41 in Sweden 2 in Ibiza and 2 in Italy that I know of.

What made you pass on the hammerhead boat ? I only saw it standing on the dock, I never saw engineroom but it looked nice when I saw it.

You are right it is a beautifull area !

Jesper the 41 HAMMER HEAD should come back to Marks for a complete redo, it was more work then I wanted at the time so I bought the 41 ALLEZ VITE. Hammer Head used to be called SAM and has always been in europe. Rupert owns HH and Shaka, and used to own RUUNING BRAVE. Thanks for the pictures, Steve.

My pleasure ! Steve have you seen Shaka in person ? It was for sale a little while back, I belive they where asking 225.000$. Allez Vite is a beautiful 41 !!! I was just toying whith the idea of buying one to keep as a hot rod for real rough weather when I wonīt take the Tiger out.

I saw the Five Star One 41 in 2002 back when it was all black but did not pay much attention to it. Have you seen that one ? I know it is for sale and the asking price is not that crazy. I was just wondering if it had #6 drives from the begining.

If any one have any pictures of Five Star One please post them !

Jesper

Re: greatest apache ever?

I didn't see 5 Star 1 or SHAKA, we did take Hammer Head out for a ride in the bay. I believe that 5 star was always a #6 boat, they are really great rought water boats, which is what works real good in those waters.

It varies. A race 41 can weigh anywhere from 9000 to 10,500, maybe a little less on the early super light raceboats. Pleasure 41's start at around 11,000 and go up from there depending on how big the cabin is and other options. Some pleasure 41's weigh more than 12,000#, wave crushers.

Wow that means your 41 Apacheīs dry weight is around 5800 pounds that is hard to belive considering a 42 Outerlimits GTX weigh around 9700 dry. If it was dry I would have understood I mean that is really light.

WarHawk weighs in at 10,400#(give or take a few 100 #), no fuel.

So MM your boat weighs around 6000# empty ???? Kinda hard to believe.

Teagues are running great. 96 mph.

Yea I know your boat is light, but 4000 lbs lighter than a 1989 6-pack ?? ????? Thats 2 TONS !!!!! Your boat might weigh 8500 lbs, but not with 300 gallons(1 ton) of fuel in it. Its impossible. Its not like I have a bunch of junk up front. No fuel tanks, 2 cabinets, life raft, flare kit, and 4 of those bouncy rubber bumper thingys :)

Actually, the Teagues are 905 hp at 5500 rpm. I have 2 MPH on you, so i did the math. Damnit I must have the slowest Apache on the planet. Thats it, I'm getting rid of the life raft and 4 rubber bumper thingys up front !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :drink:

A crane scale ? Now theres an accurate measurement instrument.............. :p

I have 30 hours running since rebuild, no problems so far. 100 hour warranty on the motors. The Teague motors are very user friendly. They start, idle, and run like a pair of 500 mercs. Very smooth. Throttle response is awesome because if the EFI system. The other nice thing about them is the fuel burn, about 15-20% less fuel at 4000 rpm compared to the Merc 800SC that were in the boat before.
