Who is "Mercury", and what do they make? I can't find their name anywhere on MY boat..... :p

I can do a pair of 725 HP 572s for that price of that one drive.

Why put a transmission in an extension box? It's already available and a lot of boats don't need, benefit or handle well with them.

Sounds like a swing and a miss to me. If I wanted that solution I would have bought a Konrad drive already.

Most boats will not accommodate the added length with the trans in the engine box.
