Anyone have a brushed aluminum dash?

Considering a different look for my 382 dash and was thinking about sandblasting my existing panels to bare aluminum and clear powdercoating them.

Downside might be reflection of sunlight on bright days.

Any thoughts or experience?

It will get really hot in the summer.
