So its been over a year now. Fountain set it the last time on Aug 7 2004. Is it time for another attempt ?

I have heard from a little twetty bird that both have new boats and Outerlimits new boat is all ready running with new bigger power than ever heard of.:eek:

I think its time. What do you all think? Who its going to be Fountain ,Outerlimits or is there a unknown out there that has been testing down in south FL :cool:

I would like to see the owners of each company run the boats they build and tout in a head to head race, not paid drivers.

I would personally like to see an event in neutral waters when both parties show up.

Each had brought the boat that would go the fastest. Obviously, OL needs to go back to the drawing board or race more so the boat they bring won't be so heavy and slow. :frog:

never have been a reggie fan but i was there and he kicked butt. i saw mikes boat leave early friday morning to go home they did not come prepaired and reggie did he backed up what he said and mike did not and thats all there is to it :rolleyes:

Actually they didn't run 160. They tested some and puked. Then they snuck out of town after breakfast.

The 160 as you say was the GPS Mikey took on his airplane to get the number. As you know, OL never did 160 with official measuring devices. That is why they made a gallant attempt at last years kilo.

I have to say at least he showed up and then talked nice to Reggie re: Fountains new world speed record.

:p Mikey in Powerboat '04 quote.."someone needs to shut him up"...unquote. That's rather rude isn't it?? Geez, even Mikey's dad shows more professionalism.

No, Reggies 47 cannot match that. That is why there are no 47's racing out there.

Botttom Line... Fountain will go faster than OL. Bring the 51 if you think that may work, the 47 sure did not. don't matter to me. :D

I was with Fiore at Reggies kilo.I helped him change gear ratios in the drives.I helped him put the boat in the water at 4:30 in the morning in the pouring rain.It broke an engine and thats it.He had something and he will have something real soon ;)
