Re: Eliminator Defies Laws of Physics

the article says 5400 rpm because that is where th rev limit is at. It is possible that the test is accurate.

I was suprised to see the Eliminator run the same speed as the DCB considering the DCB had 625's and basically the same length boat.

the boat that you are refering to was my personal boat, and i can assure you that it is capable of 120mph, and that's at 5400 rpm as the article states... i've seen 121gps myself... the new owners are great people, i'm sure i could arrange a ride for you if you'd like to see for yourself.

I'm a believer!!! I spoke with Mike Misplay about that boat a few months back and he said it was GREAT!

the article also stated that it took 8.2 seconds to plane and that the whole shot and low end suffered terribly due to the setup for high speed... so i guess its a trade off... :D

Re: Eliminator Defies Laws of Physics

the same issue has a dcb 29 running 121 with ilmor 625's and herrings..
discussing my trip to vegas last week for SEMA on a post and begging for a free ride....well, I'd offer to pay gas. "OnlyMoney" offered a ride on their 29 DCB with Illmors. She said it does 115 plus and that alligns with the article about the 29DCB ( read it last night) hitting 120.

they didn't stay in town long enough for us to get a ride, but i appreciated their offer and mention the article today to my buddy and showed him what we missed :o)

SO what your saying is that the speeds are as accurate as the prices in Powerboat Mag!

Hey, be nice to POWERBOAT mag, their editorial did make mention of OSO's hurricane relief effort. That's alot better than Brett Becker calling us a bunch of nitwits. Also, it's good to see BLeach on the forums (Eliminator's founder).

Regards,
