Sorcerer idle and at speed just listen!! NICE
SubscribeIt depends on how the fuel curve is mapped at idle. It probably requires 50 to 70 HP to turn that blower at idle and that engine was not designed to make power at idle. Also about the oil in the rockers? That is a perfect example of a properly lubricated roller valvetrain. When you see oil splashing all over the place it is because oil is going everywhere but where it should.

Im no engine expert, but, isnt that just a computer controlled form of mechanical injection, injected direcly into the blower.. arent modern EFI systems injected after the huffer?
i've also heard it in person. it is unreal. it was rumored to be capable of breaking 200 w/ no problem, but, i dont think they've been able to keep it running long enough to do so.

I have a jet boat with a bds blower and their efi setup, 16 injectors on top of the blower. I have a wicked solid roller cam in it also. Mine surged real bad because the idle control from the computer couldn't get it right. It sounded killer but the jet boat wouldn't sit still so I had to disconnect the idle controller.

Until then it is a family boat.
It IS a family boat. Rodneys mom and dad love to go out in that boat. They both love the speed. They say "the faster, the better" Originally Posted by Rik

Arise, old thread! Tried to get to my favorite links for some audio goodness, and was denied! Anyone know what happened to this boat (and the website, for that matter??)
