I'm at 103 mph with a 28-footer and Ilmor 725/Indy power. We're still way off on the prop setup, and I hope to see 110+ this summer. I'm VERY pleased to see that speed without having to resort to giant blower engine power. God only knows what this boat would do with twice the power out of some gorilla engine... This photo is NOT at speed.

Was this the gentleman that made some poor personal choices?
Seems I remember somthing and nevere heard the follow through.

Doesn't really matter those are his private affairs.

But I believe this is the same gentleman that was really starting
to make a name for him self in the marine engines and then
just vanished...............

Great engines and very respectable #'s for a single engine
V-Bottom.

Correct.

We wont be seeing him for a long time, but he built a hell of an engine.
