7:00 am central time--------spoke with Lucy------there has been no real change over night....he is holding his own.....he is apparently more restless but still has not woken up. She continues to talk to him and let him know how much he is loved by so many people. I will be speaking with her after 12:00 and will provide you all with the updated news...But as of now, no change from last evening......I am sure he knows that his OSO family is pulling for him.....life is VERY precious and can be wiped out in a split second..he is a fighter, always has been and always will be......Kathy

Tell Lucy my brother in law was in a Coma for TEN DAYS after a heart attack and the doctors had given up hope. They were getting close to pulling the plug. My wife and his other family members kept talking to him and touching this hands and face, playing tapes of his favorite songs when they were not there, and one day, he twitched his hand. A few days later he woke up, mentally fit as a fiddle, during one of these one sided conversations. The doctors were amazed.
He is 100% now. I trust M.M. will have a similar bar tale to share with all of us soon! Good luck to all, this is not easy for any of you.
*******Note: Jane just told me her brother says he can still remember hearing people talking about him while he was in the coma, so tell Lucy to be VERY careful about what everyone says around him. He can hear you and must fight hard to come back to us, thinking he is going to be okay after all. **************

He has no idea how many people really care about him. This is truely a sad sad time for all of us and especially Lucy and his family.

This whole thing seems like a bad dream that you just can`t wake up from. I feel so helpless not being able to do anything to fix the situation. All I can do is pray hard and often.
