Man, how have I missed this thread for so long ! 
So glad to hear that he is on the slow upswing now, I will pray for continued 'winks' from the man upstairs.

8:30PM.....Just got off the phone with Lucy. Mark is apparently doing better today. He had a procedure done today that allowed them to remove the breathing tube from his mouth. They placed a small hole in his throat called a tracheostomy and the breathing tube is hooked up directly to that. He appears to be feeling more comfortable. Mark has been more alert today and when the nurses called his name, he looked at them. So this is great news. They are keeping him very sedated so he is not so restless. His color is looking even better today and his vitals are good.....Once again, thankyou for all the prayer's and good wishes, they are working.........Kathy

I am so sorry to hear this and pray for his recovery.
Never met mark, spoke once on the phone, he didn't know me from Adam and took 1/2 hour of his time to talk about a 28 Apache someone had for sale.
