Stolen Props!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK, I waited a couple days to see if these would surface......

The 6 blade Herring props on the 42 PR I brought to Key West were stolen from the PITS (!!!!) on Sunday night. Cash Bar and I pulled the boat out around 5 PM on Sunday after the races and left the boat and trailer hooked to my truck. Monday morning we went to pick up the rig and..... no props!!

Can you believe it??????!!!!!!!!!!! In the pits. The port prop had slight damage, and both are slightly discolored from sitting in the water for a few days. These props are expensive and I would love to catch the scumbag who took these.

Everyone keep an eye out please.

Bill,

I met you at Cafe Moderano w/ Steve in Lauderdale show. We also had some theft we have KW Police investigating, and they did pull some prints off of our boat. Call me at 401-265-7000 and I'll keep you posted. Hopefully any info we get can lead to the guy if they are the same.

Hope you are able to recover them. Speaking of theft, I had 300 gals. of fuel siphoned out of PREDATOR overnight last Wed. in Fort Lauderdale. The boat was at Pier 66 tied up on the seawall in the canal. Unbelievable.

Stealing Props Sucks!

Some Muderphkr still has my boat!

STOLEN "APACHE 28" ATLANTA, GA - October 28th
Anyone seen this boat. It was stolen from L&M Marine/Storage on Buford Dam Rd. near Lake Lanier in North Georgia around Oct 28th or 29th. The boat is a 1991 28" Apache Brave, It is white with black/yellow checkerboard design on the sides with 2 thin blue lines running through. On the front fairing is APACHE in bold black print! The boat has twin engines with Latham steering and Bravo drives. Silver Aluminum swim platform. Interior is light blue with yellow/white trim. Triple axle trailer. Please PM me if you have seen this boat and the guy with the iron balls that towed it away or you can contact the Gwinnett County Sheriff's Dept. at 770-513-5000.

I'm really sorry to hear about these incidents of theft. I hope all is recovered and the creeps punished severly!

How about hiring a guard that is armed just to walk the pits? Imagine the surprise of mr thieve when he is approached with a dbl barrel 12ga. or 45 cal pistol

Re: Stolen Props!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well hopefully this story will restore your faith in boaters. Got back to Haulover Sunday to find a note on my windshield telling me that the author sideswiped my trailer and left his name/ number. After 3 laps around the trailer I couldn't find anything wrong. Showed my wife the note when I got home and she found a 1/4 inch split in the fender metal. I called the guy and told him that it was fine and I couldn't believe he left a note for something that small/ hard to find. Cool that there are still some honest people out there!
Key West run was great even at the back of the pack (74 MPH) isn't as fast as it used to be!

This is just unbelievable, that anyone would have the nerve to steal anything in the pits, right in front of everyone else. SOMEONE had to see them do this, and maybe just did'nt realize that they were theiv's.
I know how hard it is to keep and maintain your equiptment, and then to have some lowlife steal it on ya. I know what I would do if I caught someone stealin somebody else's stuff, and I can't print it !!!
