I agree with ratman, the JB weld is great stuff. I used it on a oil pan and it lasted for years. When you mount the system back on I would find something to support the hose to and tie it down with a clamp so there is no movement. It should last for a very long time.

Eureka, ratman! Looks like JB Weld was the original bonding agent, too. Good as new. Thanks for the tip.

Silver solder would have worked as well.

Silver solder would be the way to go there if the box were metal
