80% ? no way .... I would say 30-35 for the pair ....just my .02 ...

There should be a sealed, safety wired bolt on the intake at the front of the engine. There might be others but that is the easiest to see.

There are twist wire seals if I recall.

Would be willing to trade them for your 525's. 160mph is just too fast for the lake and is overkill
I'm thinking of going with Ron's 750's. The 850's would be nice but anything over that would be overkill for my situation. I only boat from late May until early October. My insurance on the 8's or 11's probably would not make sense for my boating timetable. The EFI's are a definate. I would have went with their motors originally but the EFI's weren't on the market at the time.

Ok guys I have a new angle to work... I can sell the pair for $40k, but I have to take a brand new never started or registered(warranty) 525 in trade. Any takers on a brand new 525 EFI?????? I probably can sell the new motor to Nor-Tech, but a reasonable offer tonite may move it!!!! I think dealer net is in the 28's, a little higher than one of the early posts thought.

Chuck the 750 will be nice because it is N/A they are very solid and will give you a solid 115-120mph boat . your 525's are worth 20k each, new dealer a little over 25k

Whatever package you buy, make sure it's easy to upgrade
