I agree that I wish they would come back to the lake. Maybe if they did some of the "go slowers" would see that all of us "booze hound, speed freaks" are not bad people. and that we do try and promote safe and responsible boating.

Hasnt passed yet.

Bill A. delivered Defender(36' Nortech) to Key West. As for the races, I still have the t-shirts. Says Aquafest and was sponsored by compaq one year, and raytheon the other

I will never forget waking up to How Sweet it is ripping down the lake at 6:30 in the morning. What a blast that was

Oh Deere, DoTheMath, Jollyroger, NetGain, Cowist thanks to all of you for the info. Definitely sounds like Bill Amadon is the guy. I sat at the Hilton Sunset Deck for the Sunday races and talked to him from early morning til the races ended. It was the best time I had at a offshore race. He is so knowledgeably about the boating and racing aspects of offshore. It was really enjoyable talking to Bill. Unfortunately in the midst of all the talking I never did get his name and that is why I started this thread. I appreciate all the info you guys were able to give.
