You can't. They weren't designed to run 6's. It would never make it on plane without them. 850 or so is about the limit without destroying drives constantly. You really have to watch it with 850's even.

y cant it work with 6s? would it change cg to much? could it run arnesons or those big azz drives that look like 6s but are a lot lighter (cant remmeber name, just remmeber seeing a pic of em on here a lilwhile ago). cig needs to tkae a stab at v hull speed record neways

I asked about building a Gladiator a couple of years ago with 6's and was told the CG would be all wrong. With the added weight in the rear you might be a little too close to the water back there as well.

You could roll a gladiator out with some ASD-7's on it that would be naughty. Then your could put some nice power behind it. It would be faster than xr's as well more efficent drive.
