Re: Inside Outerlimits
Nice job Sharkey!!
Never got to meet the Fiorre's (sp?) but talked to Paul on the phone for awhile before the Fort Lauderdale show. Interesting guy to chat with. I was bummed I didnt catch up with him in KW, was really looking forward to it. The new boat looked great! I hope it runs as well as it looks, if so next year will be interesting to say the least :) :) |

Then let Fountain add the 700lbs instead of Scater - oh wait that wouldn't be fair   |

Sean,
The windows may look bigger than they seem from the outside. Look at the pics from the inside, and the actual hole cut outs are much smaller. Plus they have quite a bit of angle and thickness to them as well... |

Re: Inside Outerlimits
Nice site sharkey. You could spend weeks going through all of the info and pics on your site. You are a very good resource!!
http://www.kodakgallery.com/Slidesho...hao2&Uy=6ktgc5 Also, what are those fins on top of the canopy? |
Re: Inside Outerlimits
Thanks!
The fins are used to break up the air coming off the canopy. |
Re: Inside Outerlimits
What HP are they running?
Also more detail about the fins? Airplanes have something similar called Vortex Generators. Are they for creating lift to get more boat out of the water for less drag? Why would they want to "break up the air" before entering the scoops? I saw the boat on display in Key West, just a little blurry in the evenings. :drink: |

[QUOTE=sharkeymarine]Thanks CMG!
Do you think Reggie would allow me come into his shop to take a tour and snap pictures of all the areas of his building??? I think he would. If someone doesn't think so, why wouldn't he? |
Re: Inside Outerlimits
OUTERLIMITS gave me full access to go anywhere in their shop I desired, and photograph anything I chose to.
I remember hearing from others that went to Fountain and said there were some areas "off limits." I don't recall if it was the lamination room , the R&D or both.... In my opinion, I am sure he restricts people from seeing everything. Maybe it's just an Insurance issue who knows? But this thread is about OUTERLIMITS. Let's keep the Fountain stuff on the Fountain thread.... ;) |

They will be adding an additional 10,000 square feet to this new facility so all their molds will be kept inside...
