If people want cargo ins, they can go pay full price, I just do this as a sevice for people that want a deal because I am going that way anyway. I am willing to take the risk and so are they, no false claims here. I have turned down things I didn't feel comfortable hauling because of there value.

well you get what you pay for. If you wreck your truck and someones boat is behind you there is no coverage for the boat. If you had cargo I could give you help. Sometimes I can not figure out how that someone could spend half a million for a boat and take a chance on insurance just to save a small amount of money. Also if you are caught crossing state lines for hire without an ICC authority that is a federal offence. Just my 2 cents

hugetime please understand I have nothing against you personally. I give quotes to people all of the time for the movement of their boat. but I carry the proper insurance and authorities so that if there is a problem the owner of the boat does not have to worry. If someone gives you a boat to haul with any value and you get into a wreck then everyone again hears the complaints of a trucker not having the proper insurance.

Bgchuby has towed my boat three times including right now. Its a 2006 Dragon $400,000+. I would not think of letting someone pull my boat without proper insurance coverage. Unless of course they have a much bigger check book than I and that person wired the full value of my boat to my account prior to hooking it to their truck. :drink:

Jeff I can't wait to see you on Monday.
