I have his home address from the driver exchange of information from the accident. I'm 1700 miles away, but I will be down there in Feb.,March, and April. If I don't see him then I will start making monthly trips.

Certified letter to his home address from your lawyer should get things moving. You could also have him served with papers at his home if you have initiated legal proceedings. That tends to get their attention. Looks like you are going to have to spend some money to get his attention.

Thanks for the advice. Getting a lawyer and even winning will not guarantee I will get my money. It will guarantee that I'll probably spend another 5k. Very frustrating situation. But I will get my money or I will get even... guaranteed!!!!
