We have done about 4 29 Fountain Fevers with single 650 HP 1X4 540 Chevrolet. All 3 boats run right at 83-85 MPH with honest horsepower numbers. Under light fuel ideal water conditions. Best Regards,

I am in process of moving from an 04 29 that goes 78 - 79 with 1/2 tank or less fuel to a 38. Load the fuel and add 4 four people, I see 74 - 75. I could see you getting low to mid 80's with another 100 ponies. The 110 mph claim for that hull is doubtful to me. If it does go that fast, the guy driving it is got ice running through his veins. Many threads on the Fountain forum about this boat and this subject.... Good luck.

He as run it at the Jacksonville Poker Run.
My thoughts were the hull would be very dangerous at those speeds, but he says it runs like it is on rails.
Ask Mikes280 or Velocity Mark about this boat!
