No survivors. TSB on scene. Witnesses reproted an explosion, plane spiraled in. Reports said one wing was on the jetty at the end of government cut, but I have no confirmation of that yet. First crash with passengers in Chalks history, second fatal crash for the airline.

Our thoughts and prayers to those affected, Godspeed.

Interview with Coast Guard official: 19 bodies recovered, one still unaccounted for. A sad day for S. Florida.

Crash happened shortly after takeoff from Watson Island enroute to Bimini.

Wasn't the "Lucky Strike" crew headed to Miami this afternoon?

The L/S crew choose to go to work. I did run down and met up with some friends. We were by Bi-Centenial park going south through the special zone enroute to biscayne Bay and just saw the plane begin its take off run. When we got back to G-Cut saw the boats and helicopters. Very sad and sobering. Our thoughts are with with family and friends of all souls aboard.
