Wow, very impressive...... until the last photos. Thanks Sharkey!

For a boat going to a boat show to be on stands, a little more time could have been spent on that area. Looks like a hole there too!

That's all I can think of it being. That one there is midship and there was another one towards the transom.

My guess is the hole may have been a pilot hole to drill from the outside in. But with the pickup being off center to the vee in the pad, it looks as though they drilled from the inside out...

That was my thought to. My point was for this boat to have been brought to a show, then put up on stands for all to see, clean up the sealant and fill in the hole. Very poor desicion to have let it out the door under these circumstances.

My dealer was working the show & told me the 47 got sold.

I understand that this boat was not finished before it left for the show. Obviously, there is still some rigging and finish work left to do.

Sharkey,

By any chance did you get a peak of the bottom or any shots?? They have to run two water pickups for the 1075 Mercs that are in her. The forward pickup looked like it was installed by a bunch of Jerry's Kids. I never expected to see that poor of craftsmanship on this boat being it was from Fountain. Hopefully they will find a much neater way of doing it.

Re: Inside FOUNTAIN 2

There was an additional pickup at the transom. The only shots of the bottom I have I already posted above...
I didn't bother with the bottom towards the transom because it was blocked by a curtain and the boat stand.

That is some of the worst workmanship ever. Not that it matters, but the pickup isn't even centered. Oh, nice pics of the bottom as well. Thanks! :D

seen that burned boat here in the 1000 Islands before. Looks like it was in a fire? not a boat fire itself?
