Just so no one can accuses me of being bias, I will post this for our Fountain members! :drink: Due to a complaint, I removed the first thread but I will post the other photos that were posted by the other OSO members. Enjoy! :drink: A lot of the contents of this thread have been copied and posted without the acknowledge of many of the original owners of the materials. It is not my intention to breach any infringement or copyright laws, however it has been an impossible task to track down the original owners of each photo to ask for their permission to be added to this thread. If anything published within this thread is owned by you, please private message me so that I may provide your images with the proper credits. Thank you for your understanding. |

These are fairly old, I have not taken any since it has been in the water. I love boat building and would like nothing more than to apprentice at a go-fast shop. Bryan |

I'll post my pictures in the "What's this about Reggie not letting Mike play?" thread. I figure Sharkey won't let drop lower than page 2 and I'll get more exposure. :D

Re: Inside FOUNTAIN 2
I'll try to get some of the original posts up! Some of the pointless posts I'll leave out to keep it clean. ;)

When comparing the rigging and such, rememer to include the price of each boat. If you're going to make a comparison, make it all the way thru. As far as cutting the stringer to save weight, is that your personnal opinion or a stated fact from Reggie? I find it hard to believe there will be enough weight removed from that cutout to make a difference. But then, I don't build /race boats. Only boat I saw that didn't have a stress crack anywhere was still on the showroom floor. :p

He hasn't chimed in much lately probably because he has seen some of the stuff going on here. I thought it may have been a good idea to give people a chance to see what these boats look like inside. You can only see so much when the boat is sitting on a trailer. Not everyone will get the opportunity to actually get up inside them as I have, and as long as I have a camera on hand, I am more than happy to share the experience. I know I would like that if it were me trying to look in. It's comments like yours Chris and many others who show their appreciation makes it all worth it and it keeps me coming back! :drink: |
Re: Inside FOUNTAIN 2
I enjoy all the inside topics. Even the Bayliner one. Just so there is no misunderstanding coming from this Fountain owner.

For my two cents, your pictures show all that's good with this hobby/sport. Please keep them coming.

I did the best that I could with salvaging the original thread. As you can see it is cleaned up quite a bit. I removed the pointless argueing too! From here on out, maybe we can see more of the inside or outside of these boats from people that are proud to show off their hulls......;) |

While doing so, I left the "off topic posts" out of the new one. Just trying to keep the peace with another F------N owner.... So my photos have been removed and the important posts that stuck to the topic have been placed on this new thread... |
