Not trying to stir up anything, just trying to learn more. Why is there a big price difference? Is it the way they are fabricated? OL using the vacuum method is it? Is that the only reason or is there more? Like I said I am not starting chit just want to know.

check out the rigging / finish / engine compartment..... much finer attention to detail. Oh ya - and an Oulterlimits 42 is actually 42 feet!!!!

Gotta throw in here. Love racing old V's nothing out handles old school. Recently purchased a 38 Fountain SV. Never really paid much attention to them. Race it with 525's at over 100 mph, you can put it in a turn at 100 like it's nothin. Never race an OL, can't comment there. But the Beak Boat does handle well. Even in the rough. Smitty
