Default Free boat!

Ok, you can just have it, free & clear. No tax, no nothing. Equal power. Fountain or Outerlimits?

Again, asinine pole. Everything thing you buy & own is based
on price vs. form & function. What you can afford dictates many
of your decisions. Very few people can afford an O.L. with big
power. Thats why a hands down pole of "which would you rather
own" can't be realistic in this case. Hell, I might pick a new 80 ft
Nortech if they are giving them away. But their not, and niether is
O.L. Now, if I had 300k cash to spend on a boat, I just might buy
a Fountain over an O.L, rather than have an O.L and put 300k down
and carry a 400k loan. Get my point ? If money was no object, I
would probably take the O.L. But money is always an object, isn't
it ?

I'll pass on both and take EPEEKs lake home.

That’s not necessarily true. Let’s say you have money like Bill gates. Or maybe half his money. We’re talking billions here. So what’s $500 mil? There are people out there that have that kind of money and the difference in price between the fountain and the OL is insignificant.

Most of us on this board have pretty nice boats but it’s all relative. I just bought a new boat but some one might tell me I could have bought an older one with bigger power that is faster and still saved some money. I wanted a new boat and felt I could spend the extra money for it.

See, it’s all relative. Just depends on the dollar scale you are operating on!

I voted outerlimits, but my Scarab was free and clear..... Dad always told me if you cant pay cash for a toy you don't need it. That is why I only have a 28' Scarab

So true i could have bought a new boat with big power for what i paid for a used Cig. If my only options for a boat were those 2 i would spend the money on the OL
