Dan Weinstein, owner out of Ft. Lauderdale, Fl., thats out of business...Where & what is he doing now? Anybody talk to him lately? Is he still in the boat business? CanDo

I think he's still in South Florida. A guy who is interested in buying my boat says he talked to Danny recently.

Last I heard he was in the guitar store pwning his guitars. He also reported to the bankruptcy court a couple weeks ago and stated that he was doing odd mechanical jobs in the boat business locally in lauderdale area.

It is alleged that counts of fraud might be brought against him for a mere $300K that was paid to him by a boat company that will rename nameless during the banruptcy that never quite made it into the bank account that the abnkruptcy attorney was monitoring.

Same old Powerplay routine, is it the Powerplay Marine or Powerplay Boat Comapny that you are purchasing from?????

Looks like old Weinerminer might end up back in the clink next to his wife.

Haven't heard a word about Dan W. I spoke to ED (Ed here on OSO) today. He was a longtime Powerplay employee. I had a great conversation with him about Powerplays. What a huge amount of knowledge he has about Powerplay and boats. He is a super nice guy. :drink: :drink:

I always liked their boats, and wanted one badly, the quality was one of the finest around. I almost bought, but just couldnt see eye to eye with Dan, I'll just leave it at that with out the details and how he slammed other co. like Active Thunder. My curiousity then brought me to Pat at Active Thunder, and with his winning personality :rolleyes: :p :D I ended up getting a 37 A.T. called RaDiO AcTiVe. Jeff
