SMOKE: ton's of great hardware, beautiful harbor town, lots of OSO members, and a great time
Chicago Powerboat Club: Classy event, upscale accomadations, fancy dinner and parties, great sky line, and big water
LEOPA: best local value on Lake Erie, lots of fun and good food two nights of steaks, prime rib, big lunch dj, band, lots of give aways all for about $250.00 Big water also
If the pocketbook afforded it those FPC runs would be great starting with Key West

Lots of great events to chose from. Unfortunately there are not enough weekends in the year to attend them all.
If you have July 21 & 22nd open come join us in Chicago for the Chicago Poker Run benefiting Children's Memorial Hospital.

You must attent the Little Creek Regatta Poker Run.
Lousy name, but a BIG event that has grown over the years. They just don't have the money to promote it. Big turn out of boats too. Last year they had 75+ boats. Those of you who don't REALLY check this one out are missing a event the size of Jacksonville Firefighters or Lake Cumberland runs.

1) Tickfaw 200 (naturally) since I live on the Tickfaw! Crazy Charlie might not have the high dollar marina that some other places have but he definitely knows how to throw a party.
2) Emerald Coast Poker Run (Destin Fl.). Have been the past 5 years running and for the amount of hardware, women, beautiful water and nightlife it's hard to beat.
3) KW - haven't been although it was being planned for this year prior to those 2 *****es making their trek through Louisiana (Katrina and Rita)
4) LOTO - I've got family there (21mm cove) and no matter what event you go for you are just about guaranteed to have a good time.

I think the best overall run to have fun, boat in the most beautiful waters and meet the most people is the FPC Miami boat Show Run to Islamorada.
KW (November)
Sarasota
1000 Islands
NYC Poker Run
Others that are on my list to try
Jacksonville FF (Thats a no brainer being a FF myself0
Smoke
and a run at either LOTO or Havasu
