Found some interesting articles. Way to much to post. Here is a breakdown comparing of MON #'s. for various aromatic solvents:
benzene 91
toluene 112
ethyl benzene 107
meta-xylene 124
para-xylene155 126
ortho-xylene 102
3-ethyltoluene 138
1,3,5-trimethylbenzene 136
1,2,4-trimethylbenzene 124
You would never want to touch Benzene, way to carcinogenic. However Xylene looks like a better candidate than toluene.
