I have first edition copies of SEARACE did John update it through the years? If he did where can I buy it?

How old is John now anyway and how is is health?

His knowledge of the sport is unmatched I would think?

What a great guy and simply unforgetable. My fathers racing misadventures just used to crack him up to no end.

Hi Les, welcome to OSO...We have a friend in common that, back in '97 when your dad passed away, told me how & where your dad's ashes ended up...in Colorado. Your dad & our common friend, who's name I won't mention, but his first intial starts with "Don", were great friends & both a couple of characters. He still brings him up in converstion often & misses his great friend. Ed

After a two day battle over 275 miles of Atlantic Ocean, Odell Lewis in Mona Lou II #49, beats Bill Sirois #90 by seven seconds.

#49 was a 32 foot aluminum Maritime and #90 was a 31 foot Bertram. Power for both boats were twin 475 HP Mercruiser sterndrives.

This close finish was a copy of the same two boats and crews finishing the Bahama's 500 in the same year.

Trophy presentation by Dennis Weaver, who played "Chester" on Gunsmoke, the TV program.

Mel Riggs on the left, Odell Lewis on the right of Dennis weaver.
