I bought a turn key boat allright,, Turned the key and Blam its a project boat. Get newest, best condition and biggest you can afford, look through all records and buy the seller a few tanks of fuel and run that boat a few times before you buy. You can always count on rebuilding at least one engine pretty soon after you buy, so factor that in.

Send me some pics when you get it back. I would like to go for a test ride between now and March.

CLAY,
Get back with ya when its finished. I'm keeping my fingers crossed Mark at Precision can hit right with the fuel mapping this time in the middle range. If so, I should be getting itback pretty quick and get the boat back together!.,
Itsa going to be one sweet ride!!

Re: Turnkey Boat vs. Project Boat
I went to the Austin Boat Show yesterday looking at boats and shopping for "wet slips" and "dry stack". I found some 28-foot "wet slips" for $1830/year!

I think I need to first grab a slip, second get a truck, and third get a boat!
