You never really said what your goals were, but I've heard that the 31 Bullets only go so fast regardless of power. I have not heard that on 35's or 38's, just that one. Anyone else hear that, or own one that makes me wrong? I'm trying to think of who told me that....probably a Top Gun owner. LOL!

Great boat, and I'm not picking apart the boat, just saying that you may want to check if your plans included huge power for lotsa speed. Might want to look at that 35 you were initially looking for. It's only money, right?

My Checkmate would run low 70's every day on the Upstate NY lake I used to run in. In the Long Island Sound, I've barely seen a day I could get to 50mph for any sustained period of time. I would trade anyone right now for an honest 60mph Bullet. Sure, a Bullet with blowers is even better, but a 60 mph Bullet is going to go 60 mph Every day, Any day!
